It's not easy. You might need a hacksaw or a sawzall. But in the end it should work out OK.

The most important step is to unplug the motor. The next step is to remove the spark plug from the head. Next, unclamp the head, then pull it out of the handle. The final step is to remove the spark plug. After the spark plug is removed, you can insert the new spark plug. It's very easy to thread a chainsaw chain. Remove the old chain by pushing it through the link in the back. Then, reinsert the old chain into the sprocket on the back of the head.

A chain can be easily separated by inserting a metal object between the chain and the sprocket. Simply insert a piece of thin metal between the two and it will easily separate. You can also use a flathead screwdriver to loosen the chain. You should now be able to get a good grip on the chain with your fingers and pull out the pieces. Threading is easier to do with a small tap-n-go tool or a pair of needle-nose pliers.
