If you are looking for an easy way to get into chainsaw if you are just a little bit handy, then the MS-461 is worth considering. I have an MS-440, which was the predecessor to the MS-461, and I can say that it has served me very well. I use it at least 3-5 times a week. The MS-461 is very similar. It is essentially the exact same chainsaw except for a few minor upgrades. They are the same price. The whole process is very straightforward, but it does require that you are capable of doing some minor maintenance.
