when the stihl chainsaw is overheated , you cannot start when it is hot , but when it cools down a little , you can start it by prunning a little with a file , in my country at least thats how it works , in your country may be a different story.

So I have a MS250 as well, and I love it. This tip is amazing. I got the saw as a refurb from a local dealer, and it initially acted as if it was going to flood. It would idle, and then sputter and die. I thought that I would have to take it in to have it looked at, and then decided to mess with it a little. I took the spark plug out, and first I tried a little bit of sewing machine oil. I put maybe a drop onto the spark plug, and then put it back in. I kicked it a few times, and I could see a little bit of oil seeping from the plug hole. I put it back on the saw, and it ran like a top! I was able to cut 12" diameter white pine for a fence for a few hours without a hiccup!
